Vision for Children at Risk
Description
Family Support Services
The Family Support Partner Program connects parents/caregivers with a Family Support Partner (FSP) to help families as they connect to and navigate mental health services. FSPs have lived experience as a parent or family member of a child with a serious emotional disorder, as well as a deep connection to the St. Louis community. They are committed to providing peer support and walking alongside parents/families to help navigate systems through supportive advocacy efforts. FSPs also create a space for voice and choice by listening and learning about their family’s needs, while providing support services in a non-judgmental manner.
