Room at the Inn
Emergency Shelter
Room at the Inn provides temporary shelter services and transitional housing services for homeless youth, ages 19 years and younger. We offer children safe and welcoming shelter, food, shower and laundry facilities, age-appropriate access to computers and the Internet, clothes, school and personal supplies, as needed. The project ensures that school-aged children are in school and if not, the enrollment process is started within three days of entering the shelter.
Our project uses an integrated approach to mitigate negative outcomes for children in shelter while working with their adult family member(s) to develop a self-sufficiency plan. The intended family outcome is to facilitate their ability to secure stable housing and achieve a positive sense of well-being."
