CIT Crisis Intervention
Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training is a law enforcement program provided in collaboration with the mental health treatment community. CIT trains and supports law enforcement to respond effectively to incidents involving individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. As a result, those individuals will not be unnecessarily jailed because of behavior resulting from their illness, but will instead gain access to emergency, inpatient, and community-based mental health treatment services.

Ending the Silence
NAMI Ending the Silence is a presentation designed for middle and high school students, school staff, and parents or guardians of middle or high school aged youth. Audiences learn about the signs and symptoms of mental health conditions, how to recognize the early warning signs and the importance of acknowledging those warning signs. This program is provided two presenters, one of whom is a young adult (aged 30 or younger) living with a mental illness and shares their story of hope and recovery. The lead presenter is a family member of an individual with a mental illness or an individual living with a mental illness.
