Mercy Intensive Outpatient Programs
Mercy offers a full range of outpatient services in support of the behavioral health of youth ages 11 to 19. Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) provide an intermediate level of care in between hospitalization and routine outpatient counseling. IOP services are offered at Mercy Hospital South and at the Mercy St. Louis – Edgewood IOP located in Creve Coeur.

Care is customized for individual patient needs and includes psychiatric evaluation and ongoing medication management while in program, group psychotherapy, family consultation, and discharge planning with care coordination. IOP care services aim to restore youth to mental wellness and functionality for school, work, and daily living.
