Family Solutions for Kids (FSK)
Family Solutions for Kids (FSK) is a program designed to help parents and children who are facing challenges in their family functioning. FSK is a free, in-home intervention program tailored to meet the distinct needs of every family served, and is available to any St. Louis County family with identified youth ages four to 19. FSK offers: individual therapy, family therapy, trauma-focused therapies, educational advocacy/support, parent education/coaching, communication skills training, child development education, and linkage with other community resources.
Steppingstone Transitional Living Program
Steppingstone is a comprehensive transitional living program for runaway, homeless, and at-risk youth ages 16 up to 19. The program's focus is to promote the social and emotional well-being of youth who have experienced homelessness, or who are at-risk for homelessness, while helping each youth increase their resiliency to trauma and attain sustainable living. Steppingstone provides stable housing through group living, campus and community apartment living. Youth receive individualized case management services, including therapy from a licensed therapist, to address trauma and other mental health issues. Youth also receive educational planning and employment assistance, and life skills training. The Steppingstone program also facilitates permanent connections for youth with caring adults, including a plan at discharge to maintain these relationships.
Outpatient Psychiatry Services (OPS)
Outpatient Psychiatry Services (OPS) provides a comprehensive psychiatric assessment and treatment plan, along with medication management, for children and adolescents by Board Certified or Board Eligible child psychiatrists. Children ages four through 19 who reside in St. Louis County receive services for free.
