Family Navigation
Easterseals Midwest’s Family Navigation service provides guidance to the families of children diagnosed with autism, so they may connect to essential therapies and services. Parents of individuals with autism can feel lost, confused, or overwhelmed at times. Our Family Navigation program ensures that families will not have to navigate a complicated system alone. We can help support and guide families every step of the way–helping to navigate services, supporting with transitions, and explaining and connecting families to resources, services, and funding.

Respite
Easterseals Midwest’s Respite program offers caregivers of children with autism a much-needed break so they may rest, practice self-care, run errands, or participate in activities they may otherwise be unable to access, all while their loved one with autism is supervised by trained staff. Families can also “recruit your own provider” for in-home respite—we handle the interviewing, hiring, and training!
