Description
Children’s Anti-Exploitation Partnership
The Children’s Anti-Exploitation Partnership (CAP) protects vulnerable children from sexual exploitation, trafficking, and abuse through prevention and intervention services. CAP closes critical service gaps by uniting social and victim service professionals, law enforcement, and community agencies to safeguard CSF-eligible youth at risk or survivors of sexual exploitation, trafficking, sexual abuse, and cyberbullying. CAP serves youth engaged in high-risk activities and/or victims with a focus on youth with juvenile justice involvement or living in high-crime or economically distressed communities. Services include one-on-one and small-group professional level mentoring, family support, and psychoeducational programming in schools, detention centers, and foster care transition programs, teaching coping, communication, decision-making, online safety, and recognition of unsafe relationships. Partnerships with ICAC Task Forces, juvenile courts, and hospitals enhance identification.
