Children’s Advocacy Services
The forensic team at Children's Advocacy Services of Greater St. Louis (CASGSL) is part of a multidisciplinary team of professionals responsible for the investigation and prosecution of child abuse cases in St. Louis County. Our highly trained staff conduct fact-finding/child-sensitive forensic interviews, provide advocacy & support for the child's non-offending caregiver, and connect children and families to medical, mental health and other community services. The investigative team (following a report of sexual abuse, physical abuse, sexual exploitation and/or in the event a child has witnessed a violent crime) makes the initial request for forensic services.
Trauma Informed System of Care
CASGSL offers counseling to children and adolescents who have experienced trauma, including sexual abuse, physical abuse, domestic violence, community violence, neglect, serious accidents, natural disasters, or traumatic loss.
