Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri

The Mentoring Initiative
BBBSEMO will serve 625 youth ("Littles") in St. Louis County during the funding period (250 in 2020, 250 in 2021, 125 in 2022), providing them with comprehensive mentoring, individualized case management support, and critical wraparound services to meet their needs. We will target youth in North County and Central sub-regions of the County, where the needs for home- and community-based services are the greatest and waitlists for these programs are staggering. We will continue working with Normandy Schools Collaborative and University City School District, including monitoring student ABC data (Attendance, Behavior, Course performance in Reading and Math) to ensure we reach youth who are most in need of mentoring and wraparound services.
