In 2024, the St. Louis County Children’s Service Fund board of directors approved a new impact framework – a roadmap to guide our work into the future. This animated series of videos illustrates our view that investing in preventive care – and ensuring children and families have their basic needs met – is how we can keep our behavioral health care system from becoming overwhelmed and ensure that St. Louis County residents can lead healthy, full lives.

Silent War: Asian American Reckonings with Mental Health – Panel Discussion.

In May 2026, in recognition of Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month and Mental Health Awareness Month, the St. Louis County Children’s Service Fund hosted a screening and panel discussion of the film Silent War: Asian American Reckonings with Mental Health. The discussion was moderated by Michelle Li, anchor of KSDK’s Today in St. Louis and co-founder of The Very Asian Foundation. Panelists included Dr. Changfu Chang, writer and director of Silent War: Asian American Reckonings with Mental Health; Dr. Min Liu, co-founder and faculty advisor of Asian American Civic Scholars; and Rorke Chhouk, PLPC, therapist at Monarch Immigrant Services.
