St. Louis County Transitional Living
and Temporary Shelter Services.
When living in their own home is no longer safe or possible – whether due to abuse, neglect, homelessness or another crisis – it’s important for kids and families to have a safe place to go and access to services that can help them move forward and find stability. While temporary shelter services provide a safe place to live immediately following a crisis, transitional living services help young people move from a temporary shelter to a safe living space with opportunities for developing independent life skills.
Fortunately, these resources are available in St. Louis County to those who need them.
