Internships.
At the St. Louis County Children’s Service Fund, we are proud to offer paid internships for students in the St. Louis area in several focus areas, including data and social work. We offer the opportunity to work closely with CSF staff, our funded partner agencies, and community coalitions on projects that are tailored to your interests and skills. We strive to ensure that all interns leave us with new skills, new connections, and a deeper understanding of our approach to investing in children’s mental and behavioral health services. Our internships do not include direct work with children and families. To see full-time job openings, please visit our Careers page.

Why Work With Us?
At CSF, we are a team of unique individuals working toward a collective goal to improve the lives of kids and families in St. Louis County by investing in quality mental and behavioral health programs. Our interns work alongside our staff to support this mission and to get an inside look at how public funding works.
Here are a few projects our previous interns have worked on in their time with us:
- Creating high-powered data dashboards in ArcGIS for internal and external use.
- Using ArcGIS storymaps to illustrate the impact of CSF’s funded partner organizations.
- Creating a repository of job boards to help increase equity in CSF’s hiring process.
- Assisting in the development of a new taxonomy system for outcome measurement tools.
- Researching funding policies to help CSF establish thoughtful policies of its own.
- Scheduling and joining CSF staff for funded partner check-ins.
- Being part of planning and implementation teams for CSF-hosted events.
