Maya Wedlow joined St. Louis County Children’s Service Fund (CSF) in September 2025 as a program officer. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Public Health from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and brings nearly 10 years of experience working to support children’s health and wellbeing.
Maya started her career in public health as a frontline community health worker where she advocated to address the social determinants of health needs of families with young children in St. Louis. Through this experience, she gained insight into the systemic complexities that complicate families’ abilities to obtain needed supports and resources.
Maya’s background in community health has led her to coordinate and manage projects and programs to bridge gaps between academia, healthcare institutions, and communities. In 2025, Maya completed a Health Equity and Leadership Development Initiative (HELDI) Fellowship with an immersive year supporting digital communications at the U.S. Office of the Surgeon General.
Maya looks forward to working at the intersection of community health, project management, and stakeholder engagement at CSF to strengthen the mental and behavioral health landscape for St. Louis County youth.
Maya enjoys spending time with family, baking and cooking, walking and sunbathing with her dog, and watching the Minnesota Vikings with her partner.
