Jessie Brown is the St. Louis County Children’s Service Fund’s (CSF) Communications and Community Engagement Specialist, joining the CSF team in April 2026.

Jessie has spent her career at the intersection of connection, education, and advocacy – helping people better understand mental health and one another. She graduated from William Woods University with a bachelor of fine arts and from Lindenwood University with a master’s degree in professional counseling. Over the past 12 years, she has worked in the mental health field with a focus on crisis intervention and community advocacy. Her experience spans direct clinical services, community engagement, program design, and securing funding to expand and sustain impactful programming. She has trained thousands across the St. Louis region on topics like suicide prevention and workplace wellness, always striving to make complex concepts accessible, relatable, and actionable.

At her core, Jessie is a storyteller, a bridge builder, and someone who believes that education is most powerful when it sparks connection. She carries that commitment into her personal life as a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri and as a board member with NAMI Missouri.

Outside of her work, Jessie enjoys all things creative, spending time with her niece and nephews, and going on adventures with her 4-lb Pomeranian, Crumple Von Rumples III.
