What Is Your Role At CSF?

I am CSF’s Salesforce Administrator.

When did you join the CSF team?

I joined in January 2023.

What drew you to work for CSF?

The love for my community and the St. Louis region overall. I enjoy being a small part of something that helps build and improve the community that supported my growth.

What prepared you to work at CSF?

CSF wisely chose Salesforce to manage its grant lifecycles, which was very lucky for me, someone who is self-taught and learned how to use Salesforce from the ground up.

Describe your position at CSF.

I am responsible for management of CSF’s Salesforce organization, which includes user and data management, as well as process workflow and automations. My day-to-day includes support for users who are having trouble with their accounts, data monitoring to ensure everyday processes are working properly, and process automation building to plan for what comes next for CSF.

What keeps you passionate about your work?

Seeing the fruit of our collective labor. After working with the whole team on a major initiative, it’s an amazing feeling to sit back and watch how all of our hard work puts things into motion in our community.

What is your favorite part of your job?

The creative control and trust given to me by my colleagues. I have the ability to do what I love, the way I like to do it.

What’s the most challenging part of your job?

Learning how new features and updates in Salesforce can add to or adapt our workflows. Every now and then, something about a new Salesforce update can interrupt our regular processes.

What is a project at CSF that you’re most proud of?

Successfully executing the applications for the 2025-2027 Grassroots Funding Opportunity and the 2026-2029 Core Funding Opportunity in Salesforce. It was a heavy lift done in a smaller-than-usual timeframe. There are things I would change, but overall I am very pleased with the outcome.

What’s your favorite lunch spot?

Nathaniel Reed Bakery – Amazing sandwiches.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I love to play PlayStation. I could play from morning to night if I were allowed.
