We are pleased to announce our 2025-2027 Grassroots Funding Opportunity recipients! In our third Grassroots funding allocation, we will distribute $3,530,536 among 24 organizations that provide mental and behavioral health services to children and families in St. Louis County.

The Grassroots Funding Opportunity was established in partnership with CSF’s Community Advisory Committee to invest in small, community-based organizations that are best positioned to deliver meaningful and innovative services to their communities. Programs funded through the Grassroots Funding Opportunity must fall under one of CSF’s focus areas, which includes crisis intervention, respite care, substance use treatment, and therapeutic and non-therapeutic counseling, among others. CSF’s Grassroots funding allocation began in 2021 as a $2 million investment. In the last cycle, over $3.6 million was invested in 29 organizations.

“We are thrilled to partner with these 24 local nonprofits that are providing quality, innovative, and culturally responsive care to kids and families in St. Louis County,” said Emily Koenig, executive director of CSF. “These organizations are deeply rooted in and trusted by the communities they serve; we are proud to support them and look forward to working together to ensure every child and family in St. Louis County has access to the support they need to thrive.”
